Introduction of a sustainable development policy attested by ISO 14001 certification.

After joining the UN Global Compact, GRIS DÉCOUPAGE publishes an annual “Communication on Progress” report detailing the actions it has carried out during the year to demonstrate its commitment in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

Second external growth operation: to broaden its offering, GRIS DÉCOUPAGE acquires an automotive heavy pressing activity by buying up the companies MGE (department 42, France) and MOTOKOM (Slovakia).

The company can now run low-cost operations and has 3 production sites.

GRIS DÉCOUPAGE celebrates its 20th anniversary and to mark the occasion is presented with the Lorraine Region Financier of the Year Award sponsored by Le Nouvel Economiste.

GRIS DÉCOUPAGE is awarded the prestigious Management and Skills Trophy (Enjeux Les Echos and CEGOS) for implementing an employment and skills planning programme, hitherto reserved for large groups.

The award is presented by Louis SCHWEITZER, President of the Jury and Chairman & CEO of RENAULT, the company’s No. 1 customer!

First external growth operation: GRIS DÉCOUPAGE acquires the company NICOLLE (Montreuil, department 93, France), the long-time leader in spring washer manufacture known for its expertise in cutting hard steels and treatments.

GRIS DÉCOUPAGE becomes Partner for Fasteners.

Geared to productivity, GRIS DÉCOUPAGE has within a few years doubled its production capacity. This technology gap already sets it apart from its competitors.
